Privacy Policy

Queuelark (queuelark.com) is a website for scheduling and publishing posts to TikTok. I, Thomas Darby, make and run it as a sole proprietor in Pennsylvania, United States. This policy explains what Queuelark collects, why, where it is kept, and how to have it deleted. Questions: support@queuelark.com.
What Queuelark collects
- Your email address, to send you sign-in links and to identify your account.
- Sign-in records. A scrambled (hashed) copy of each sign-in link and session, when it was made, and the IP address a sign-in link was requested from, used to limit abuse.
- Your TikTok connection. When you connect a TikTok account, TikTok gives Queuelark access tokens for it, with your TikTok user ID, display name and profile picture. The tokens are stored encrypted. Queuelark uses them only to show which account is connected and which options it allows, to publish the posts you set up or send them to your TikTok inbox as drafts, to check their status, and to end the connection when you disconnect. Queuelark asks TikTok for three permissions: your basic profile (user.info.basic), posting (video.publish), and sending drafts to your TikTok inbox (video.upload).
- Posting options. Before you post, Queuelark asks TikTok which audiences, interaction settings and video length your account allows, so it can show you those choices.
- Your posts: the photos or video, title, caption, settings and time you choose, and what TikTok reports back, such as the post's ID once it is public.
Where it is kept, and who else handles it
- Account, connection and post records are kept in a database hosted by Supabase in the United States.
- Photos and videos are stored with Vercel Blob, and this website is hosted by Vercel. Vercel processes technical request information, including IP addresses, to deliver and protect the site and the files.
- Sign-in emails are sent through Purelymail, which also hosts the support mailbox.
- TikTok receives the posts and drafts you send and the settings you chose for them, under TikTok's own privacy policy.
How long things are kept
- Your email address and account: until you delete your Queuelark account.
- A TikTok connection and its tokens: until you disconnect it or delete your account.
- Your posts' details (caption, settings and what TikTok reported back): in your queue until you disconnect that TikTok account or delete your Queuelark account.
- Photos and videos: until TikTok has them. A file is deleted within minutes of TikTok confirming its post or putting the draft in your inbox, or of the post failing or being cancelled. Otherwise it is deleted about 2 hours after it was sent, by when TikTok has either downloaded it or stopped trying. Uploads that never became part of a post are deleted after a day.
- Sessions: 30 days, or until you sign out. Sign-in link records are deleted after a day.
- Backups: the database is backed up every day and each backup is kept for 7 days, so deleted records are gone from the backups within 8 days.
To publish a post or deliver a draft, TikTok downloads the files from a queuelark.com address. Each address is random and isn't listed anywhere, but anyone who has the address can open the file until it is deleted.
What Queuelark doesn't do
- No ads and no analytics or tracking. Queuelark sets two cookies: one keeps you signed in, and one lasts 10 minutes while you connect TikTok, to make sure the connection is yours.
- I don't sell your personal information. I don't share it except with the services named above that run Queuelark, with TikTok for your connection and your posts, or where the law requires it.
- Queuelark never sees your TikTok password. You sign in on TikTok's own page.
- Queuelark doesn't add watermarks, logos or text to your content.
Deleting your information
- Disconnect a TikTok account in Settings. Queuelark asks TikTok to revoke its access and deletes that account's tokens and all of its posts in Queuelark, scheduled and past, with their files. You can also remove Queuelark's access in TikTok's own settings.
- Delete your Queuelark account in Settings. Your account, TikTok connections, posts, files, sessions and sign-in records are deleted right away, and Queuelark asks TikTok to revoke its access. Posts already published, and drafts already in your TikTok inbox, stay on TikTok; delete them there.
- Or email support@queuelark.com from the address you sign in with, and I will delete your account and confirm it within 30 days.
- If you email support, I receive your address and message and use them only to answer you. You can ask me to delete that conversation at any time.
Your rights
You can ask what Queuelark holds about you, ask for a copy, or ask for it to be corrected or deleted. Email support@queuelark.com.
Age
Queuelark is for people 18 and older. It isn't meant for children, and I don't knowingly collect information from them.
